This poster reflects how students can link emotions with their cognitive function of the brain. Teachers can use this resource to explain the house model of the brain and come up with a story about a family who lives inside it. I have used this model for young kids and they completely love the idea. Teachers can link the emotional and cognitive part of the brain by developing activities using the brain house. Students also can create their own model and write down ideas about how to keep a calm, clean house as well as how to fix it when it is not in control.
