This poster will help your students to know the parts of the brain and its function. Based on Siegel (2012), children must understand how the brain works in order to control it. This is a great resource to model brain integration and its benefit in learning as well as recognizing when there is a cognitive or emotional break-up and how to control it. As a teacher, you can encourage your students to use their own brain model to talk about feeling and emotions.
